Presenting @Microsoft Malaysia’s the new Efficiency Launch

It was fun and happy to see so many people turned out for the business launch of Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange Server 2010. I presenting 2 session at the developer break out track session.

  1. Lights up Windows 7 (with Windows 7 API Code Pack) – Me and Walter Wong demoed features like the enhances taskbar, jump list, Multi Touch as well as Sensor API capabilities.
  2. Lap around ASP.NET 4.0 and Silverlight 3 – I ended the last session of the day with a preview on Silverlight 4.0 showing cool stuff like right click context menu, file drag and drop as well as the webcam capabilities.

It was the best audience I never had so far. Many thanks to you guys for making it so much fun!

On Friday, June 26, Microsoft announced  the official start of the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program, which allows customers who buy a PC now from a participating OEM or retailer with Windows Vista Home Premium, Business or Ultimate to upgrade to Windows 7 at little or no cost ( a minimal shipping & handling fee apply). This program will be available until January 31, 2010 and is a global program.

Talk on Source Control using TFS 2008 and Continuous Integration in TFS 2010

Local VSTS Partner and C# MVP Ervin Loh delivered a talk recently on 12th Jun about source control features inside Team Foundation Server 2008. This is actually a Microsoft Malaysia hosted event known as Devtalk where every month they invite speakers to share on topics of interest to developers.
